Arrival in Tbilisi, transfer to hotel

Walking tour in famous Sulfuric Baths district, (Abanotubani) and Legvtakhevi Waterfall, visit Metekhi church (12th Century) and Narikala fortress, (4th Century), Mother of Georgia,(Kartlis Deda ) monument , the symbol of the city with a panoramic view from the hill. At the end of the tour , walking time in Mtatsminda park , located also up in the hills , using cable cars to go up. Lunch and overnight in Tbilisi

Georgian Military Highway. We will see the Jinvali reservoir, Visit the ancient fortress and architecture complex of Ananuri . Our next point will be village Stepantsminda. 4X4 to the Mount Gergeti, visit Trinity church, 14th century at an elevation of 2170m, overnight and dinner in Gudauri ski resort.

After the breakfast we leave for ancient cave city of Ufliscikhe, which was inhabited since 6th century BC. It has amazing view of the Mtkvari River. Afterwards we will visit small town of Gori, 20 km from Ufliscikhe. Gori is a town, where Joseph Stalin was born. We will visit Stalin's museum and a house where he lived. Lunch in Gori. After visiting here, we continue our road to Kutaisi city, it is a second largest city of Georgia, with history of 3000 years. Overnight in Kutaisi.

We travel to Upper Svaneti, wherwe hardly anything has changed there for the last few centuries. Svaneti is famous for its beautiful nature, the ancient traditions, historical towers and snow-capped peaks. Svanetian traditional dinner and overnight in Mestia.

In the morning a 2 hour drive will take us to the highest permanent village in Europe – Ushguli (2200m). Ushguli is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Lamaria Church (12th century). The village is most famous for its abundance of watchtowers and this is where you get the view of the highest mountain in Georgia – Mt. Shkhara (5201m). We can take a leisure walk along the village narrow alleys. Drive back to Mestia.

After the breakfast, we visit marvelous Ethnography Museum of Mestia housing gilded icons and crosses, old manuscripts, unearthed items etc. Then we drive all the way down to the seaside and the town of Batumi. On the way, we will stop in Zugdidi town, of Samegrelo region. We will visit, Dadiani family palace and have a walking tour into its beautiful garden. Upon arrival in Batumi, we have time at leisure to relax the beach and enjoy the boulevard. Dinner and overnight in Batumi.

In the morning visit Piazza Square, one of the most beautiful squares in whole Georgia, distinguished by its painting, as well as by its exquisite mosaics and stained glass windows. Piazza Square has already become the venue of numerous entertaining and cultural events. Afterwards we reach the Europa square with the beautiful statue of Medea. Visiting Botanical Garden of Batumi will be another experience of the trip. Found in 1912, this garden contains more than 5000 kind of plants from all over the world. Lunch in Batumi, with sea view terrace. Gonio Fortress (1st century AD) was once a large Roman-Byzantine military settlement and an important strategic point along the Black Sea coast. It was occupied intermittently by Romans, Byzantines and Ottomans. More importantly it is connected with the myth of the Argonauts and the Golden Fleece. Overnight in Batumi.

After breakfast we drive back to Tbilisi. On the way we will visit the ancient capital and religious center of Georgia – Mtskheta and its historic Jvari Monastery (6th century) and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century) – both UNESCO World Heritage sites. Arrival in Tbilisi, dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Tbilisi airport.

In the morning drive along the Georgian military highway and on the way visit Ananuri architectural complex (17th century) and Jinvali water reservoir. Proceed Kazbegi town, (1740m) from Kazbegi we drive up through beautiful valleys to Gergeti Trinity Church located at 2170m. We also enjoy the beautiful views of Caucasus glacier - Mt Kazbegi (5033m). Afterwards we drive through the beautiful Sno Valley to the village of Juta (2165m). This old village still surprises the visitors with its preserved ancient way of life. After Juta we have to explore one more impressing valley in Truso. Drive to most famous ski resort Gudauri, (2100m) Overnight in Gudauri. 50km off road.

In the morning we drive to Kartli region, and visit Uplistsikhe – an ancient cave town, (1st millennium BC) located on the legendary Silk Road. On the way to Bakuriani visit Stalin museum. Arrival in Bakuriani through beautiful Borjomi valley. Overnight in Bakuriani.

In the morning we check our jeeps and leave for Tabatskuri lake trough Tskhratskharo Pass (2462m) located in Samtskhe-Javakheti region and then to Vardzia - the magnificent cave town of the Golden Age (12th century). Overnight in Akhalcikhe. 50km off road.

After the breakfast, we drive via Goderdzi Pass (2025m) to the Adjara region. We will drive through the beautiful Adjarian villages and enjoy great views of surrounded mountains, ancient stone bridges and waterfalls. Arrival in most beautiful sea side city of the country - Batumi. Overnight in Batumi. 50km off road.

Today we travel to upper Svaneti region, the world of ancient towers and gushing rivers. Svaneti is famous for its beautiful nature, the ancient traditions, historical towers and snow-capped peaks. First our stop on Enguri Dam, highest reservoir in the world, with stunning view of Samegrelo region and Svaneti mountains. Arrival in Mestia, the administration center of Svanetian region. Svanetian traditional dinner and overnight in Mestia.

In 50 km from Mestia to the north, locates village Ushguli, highest permanent village in Europe (2200m) UNESCO world heritage site. You get the view of the highest mountain in Georgia – Mt. Shkhara (5068m). In Ushguli we visit Lamaria Church (12th century) and then walk up the hill to Queen Tamar's Tower. Overnight in Ushguli. 30km off road.

After the breakfast off road drive from Ushguli to lower Svaneti, Lentekhi, which road is extremely beautiful and contains a lot of interesting places. Overnight in Lentekhi. 50 km off road.

In the morning we leave Lentekhi and lower Svaneti and visit Kutaisi, second largest city of Georgia, with 3000 years of history. Your will visit Sataplia (honey place) near Kutaisi, it is a wonderful siteo f prehistorical nature, labyrinths of karst caves and fossilized tracks of dinosaurs that lived there in the Mesozoic era, 160 mln years ago. Afterwards we arrive Tbilisi. Enjoy free evening in Tbilisi.
